New Patients
New Patient Information
Starting off prepared helps us make the most of your visit from the very beginning. Please consider using the self-check in option available via text or our patient portal to prepare for your upcoming appointment. This feature allows you to complete your registration, make your co-payment if you have one, and provide health information that will allow your provider to better prepare for your visit.
On the day of your visit, please arrive 15 minutes prior to your appointment time. Bring your photo identification, insurance card(s), and a current list of your medications (these can be entered online when using our self-check in option).

You can save time by checking in online before your visit and filling out any forms required for your appointment. Contact our office to register for our patient portal and opt into appointment reminders by text, email and phone.

Richmond Heart and Vascular Associates uses Athenahealth for our secure online patient portal. Through the portal you can view your health records, check lab results, review appointment summaries, and send messages directly to our care team. Setting up your account is simple and free, and we encourage all patients to enroll before their first visit.
Insurance and Billing
We are committed to making it easy and convenient to manage your account. If you have questions for our billing team regarding your statement, wish to verify your coverage, or make payment arrangements, please send us a message via the Patient Portal or call our office at 804-800-6600 and request to speak to a member of the Billing Team. To make a payment online, you can log into the Patient Portal or make a payment using the code provided on your billing statement. If you have a question about a charge or your insurance, our billing team is available to help.
